Number 9 – Longest Hot Dog
What can be better than grilling hotdogs on your lawn on a spring or summer day? A hot dog is a grilled sausage snack that is served in a bun slit. Some people also use the word sausage to describe these delectable hot dogs.
To date, numerous people or groups attempted to make the record for the longest hot dog. A world record for the longest hot dog exists since at least 2001.
The record was most recently broken in the German town of Flensburg in October 2017 when a team created and served a 218.7-meter-long U-shaped hot dog. It was chopped into pieces after the official measurement and consumed by those in attendance.
